I suppose that for the millions of Smurf fanatics out there sharing the world with us, The Smurf Song by Dutch musician Pierre Kartner (AKA Father Abraham) is their Ave Maria.
However, that doesn't make it any less unsettling to listen to, or to watch, as when the Top of the Pops resident dance troupe Legs and Co. decided to do interpretive dance to it way back in the 70's.

Now, if it doesn't make your skin crawl just thinking about blue dancers scissor kicking to a warped children's tune, then perhaps the fact that one Sir Jimmy Seville, host of the TOTP and accused kiddie molester of what some estimate to be over 400 young girls, might when you watch him introduce the song in a way that seems a little more skeezy then necessary.
Just a warning: Even though you will desperately want to burn your eyes with acid after watching this, DONT DO IT. The unclean feeling will pass, I promise you.
