“The show makes semantic sense but things seem nonsensical”
Things are getting weirder and weirder on this show. As this is not the proclaimed final season of True Blood, the series is following a pattern similar to supernatural shows when they have nowhere to go.
Anything to make characters suffer is being carried out. And then the next crazy plot-problem arises. Circle circle.
Tonight’s theme was an over-commitment to immediate (usually random) and eternal love. It seems that all actions are motivated by unexpected eternal devotion.
Every time a new character is introduced, we usually see them naked and then they profess their everlasting love. It’s a little odd considering how little time passes.
Not just because relationships need time to develop, but because recent traumatic events happened only days ago.
Seems no one needs any down time before their next life-hurdle.
Coping mechanism on True Blood is to find a new forever.
