Trying to hit the Governor where it hurts, Milton asks the Governor how his daughter would react to the type of person he is now.
The Governor responds, saying she’d be afraid of him but if he’d been like this from the start she wouldn’t be dead.
The Governor brings Milton to Andrea (Laurie Holden), admitting that he lied to Woodbury to amp them up for war. Milton is told that there is no way he can leave the room without killing Andrea and is handed a knife. In his one huge moment of courage in the entire season, Milton lunges at the Governor. Unfortunately for Milton, the Governor overpowers him, stabbing him multiple times in the gut. He leaves Milton to turn into a Walker while Andrea is still handcuffed to the chair.
At the prison, Carl (Chandler Riggs) goes through his bag of possessions, looking at the picture of his family and the sheriff’s badge Rick (Andrew Lincoln) had given to him earlier in the series. While everyone packs up the cars, Rick reaches for Carl, but Carl shrugs him off. Everyone notices, Glenn (Steven Yeun) mentioning that he’s never seen Carl this angry. Rick reminds him that it’s easy forget that Carl is still just a kid. Continuing with preparations, Rick sees a vision of Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies).
