Ollie (Justin Hartley) and Clark (Tom Welling) find themselves trapped in the Phantom Zone, which wouldn’t be as bad if it weren’t being ruled…by none other than General Zod (Callum Blue). That’s cool though. It’s been a long time since someone’s had to kneel on this show.
And as the homestretch of the series appears…the presence of the ultimate evil looms.
The Random:
1. Clark, trust me, it doesn’t matter that Lois (Erica Durance) loves Whitesnake. Look at her. She could like Justin Bieber for all it matters. OK. Maybe that’s pushing it. But deal with the Whitesnake, dude.
2. I think it’s a rule that if there’s a dystopian setting, it must also include gladiatorial fights because, clearly, there cannot be any other form of entertainment possible.
3. Clark hasn’t even become Superman yet and he’s got enough of a rep that Darkseid is giving Zod commands to take him out. I thought General Zod didn’t take orders. Bonus points for Darkseid also being mentioned in the same breath as Orion…not just a constellation but also Darkseid’s adopted son in the comics.
