My mother, who will be 70 soon, is what you would call an active gamer. Ever since the Atari 2600 made it into our house back in the wee early '80s and she picked up the iconic joystick to imbibe in some serious Combat, the woman has rarely put down a game controller.
And now that she is ignoring me to play her Nintendo DSi XL (don't worry, she's moving on to both the 3DS XL AND the Wii U soon), I am almost glad for it if Hilda Knott is any indication of what kind of mad skillz an elderly gamer can accumulate (she plays Grand Theft Auto and Disgaea 4 for Christ sake) over 40+ years of gaming.
Seriously, the woman can book through an inventory menu like a 13-year-old gamer hopped up on Mountain Dew.
