Empire has an amazing DARK KNIGHT RISES exclusive featuring more official images from the highly anticipated sequel to THE DARK KNIGHT (thanks to
Comic Book Movie for putting them online). The article also offers several revelations about the plot of the film (it takes place 8 years after THE DARK KNIGHT),
but we covered that on FOG last week.
The Playlist also confirmed what I guessed
the 6 minute prologue before MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - GHOST PROTOCOL IMAX would entail, saying its "an introduction to Bane, and a taste of the rest of the film." Sounds just like the prologue in which the Joker was introduced before I AM LEGEND IMAX, making that movie's ticket price worthwhile.

This image is the most interesting to me, featuring Bane holding an image of Harvey Dent on top of what the caption describes to be Bane's custom tumbler. Is Bane exposing the secret about the end of Dent's life that Gordon and Batman have tried to keep secret for eight years? Does this mean the Joker was an agent of the League of Shadows as well, corrupting Dent in order to bring down Gotham?
We'll find out more when the prologue and
second trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES hit theaters in December.
