Paul Raymond is getting, not one, but two new films about his life. One project is already done with Michael Winterbottom and Steve Coogan called King of Soho. The other project hasn't started yet, but we hear that Tom Hiddleston is looking at the lead role.
Raymond was an English strip club owner, porn distributor, and "one-time owner of London's entire West End. In an interview with The Daily Mail, his son Howard Raymond said that he's working on his own film based on his father's book called The King of Soho.
Hiddleston would have to take on "every scene in the film" and Raymond says says that his project will be much better than Winterbottom's effort. He compared the two saying they would "be like chalk and cheese." Later he said that the other producers are looking at the book as a spoof and not a serious film.
