This is one of those great Southern soliloquies that I deeply miss being so far from my adopted hometown of Savannah, Georgia (Ok, so technically this is from Oklahoma, but it's still the South...somewhat).
Black or White, it didn't matter, when the news truck came to take a statement concerning any level of disaster, the descriptive accounts would fly and that is what made living in the Deep South such a wonderful thing.
God, I miss Cole' Pops.
