He's known for taking on little fishy teeth, but now Piranha director Alexandre Aja is looking at vampire fangs in Undying Love.
According to Deadline, the director is in negotiations with Warner Bros. to take on the adaptation of the graphic novel from Image Comics. Created by Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman the story revolves around an ex-soldier who fall in love with a vampire. If he really wants to be with her he has to prove himself by talking on her creator in the Hong Kong underworld. The only catch is that her creator is also protected by a monster army.
Coker and Freedman also wrote the script for the adaptation that will be produced by Michael De Luca, Stephen L’Heureux and Benderspink. Aja is also known for having directed The Hills Have Eyes.
