Marvel Studios is currently looking at two possible directors for the sequel to the Norse God documentary.According to THR, the studio is looking at Alan Taylor and Daniel Minahan to replace the recently departing Patty Jenkins. Both are big cable show directors working for series like Game of Thrones, True Blood, The Sopranos, Grey's Anatomy, and more.
Jenkins exited the project last week just when Marvel was working to find a writer for the project. Still searching for a writer, there is a script from Don Payne, but a new shortlist of writers includes John Collee(Master and Commander), Robert Rodat(Falling Skies), and Roger Avary(Pulp Fiction).
Jenkins would have been the first female director of any superhero or comic book movie. She left the project with the now standard creative differences excuse.
The sequel is set for a November 15, 2013 release.
