Variety reports that Jonathan Liebesman, director of Battle: Los Angeles is in the final negotiations to helm the reboot of the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The new version of TMNT is reported to be a live action version like the trilogy from the 90s
Details for the project are being kept very tightly under wraps at the moment. The Paramount revisiting of the well known comic and cartoon title will be produced by Michael Bay along with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form from Platinum Dunes. No director is set yet, but there is a script from Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.
