Book lovers will delight in this trip around the world’s 20 most beautiful bookstores from Flavorwire; though while there is only one in the US, travelers will have to venture far to see them, particularly to South America which has a number of them.


Introduce Yourself to the Wheel of Time for only 99 cents
There are no doubt a number of fantasy readers (and general readers too) who haven’t yet attempted the massive Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, and currently being completed by Brandon Sanderson. Well, here’s your chance: Tor is now offering the first part of the first book, The Eye of the World, in ebook for only 99 cents.

Young Adult Novels That Aren’t the Same Old Dystopias
With the runaway and seemingly unstoppable success of The Hunger Games trilogy (and the first movie set to hit theaters in March), there has been a morass of young adult dystopian novels over the last few years, many of them barely worth the paper they’re printed on. World Book Night
World Book Night is a very special event that was started last year in Britain and was met with resounding success. This year it’s being held in the US on April 23 for the first time. The goal is make more and better readers: on the night of April 23, selected volunteers will head to give away free books to people to get them to read more. The official site has all the information, as well as the 30 titles that will be used for “World Book Night,” and the cool thing is they’re taking volunteers until Monday, February 6, at midnight.
