A new project is being started up at FX from singer-songwriter Dave Grohl and comedian Dana Gould.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Foo Fighters' lead and Gould will be writing and executive producing a half-hour comedy about a rock band "on the verge of stardom and breaking up."
The project would revolve around the band who look for help from a couples' therapist who is near divorce himself. The band clearly needs help and doesn't know what to do. The half-hour comedy would be counter show to Scar Tissue.
Scar Tissue, the drama project from Anthony Kiedis, frontman of Red Hot Chili Pepppers, has been in development at FX and before that was at HBO. The project is being executive produced by Entourage EP's Mike Benson and Marc Abrams along with Kiedis and a few others.
The project from Grohl and Gould would see them both executive producing alon with Tom Lassally from 3 Arts and Dave Becky and Bill Gerber from Gerber Pictures.
