Summer Reading Rarities

As we’re now deep into the heart of summer, you’re either on your planned vacation, or will be leaving for sunnier climes and warmer weather soon.  You’ve also probably scrutinized the various recommended summer reading lists, whether in the last dying few print publications that feature these lists, or perhaps a bookstore display or two, or scouring the various suggested and selected lists online.

Well, here’s a different kind list.

You won’t find your recommended chick lit beach reads, or your chilling horror mass markets to enjoy under the warm sun, or the moving memoirs, or even the diverse and multi-cultural nonfiction you deliberately picked up to make yourself feel better about yourself and more widely read.

Most, if not all of these books, you’ve probably never seen before.
