I'm a Science Whore and I am very proud of it. In fact, growing up I regularly made out with Carl Sagan in my dreams and worshipped various scientists (especially biologist E.O. Wilson) and because of my supreme nerdiness (and body odor) I never felt the touch of a real human being until my late teens when I participated in the game Seven Minutes in Heaven and french kissed a guy who will remain nameless out of respect to his wife and kids (let's just say I never quite recovered from his "talent").
Of course, my science mania didn't fully materialize during my post-high school years mainly because I discovered after-hours dance clubs, 'zines and poetry slams in the 90's, but as I've gotten older, I've found that my need to read and watch Science programs has grown stronger and I've reverted back to my true state of Nerdhood proudly.
And now that Sexy Science God Neil deGrasse-Tyson is taking the reins from Carl Sagan and bringing back Cosmos to a television audience, I find that my underwear is getting moist in anticipation for what I hope will be an amazing journey deep within our universe.
And, after watching the trailer below, I hope you too will be scientifically satisfied by what you've just seen.
