On a beach in West Virginia, the BAU investigates a totem pole of corpses built on the beach, made from victims who had all been buried on the beach except for the top victim, who is the only recently killed one.

Will (Hugh Dancy) puts himself in the killer’s shoes, building the pole of dismembered body parts.


The most recent victim laid bound and gagged on the beach, purposefully alive, watching the killer build the pillar.


Will, as the killer, kills the man.

The pillar was built as a legacy.
