Stephen Colbert took time out of his busy schedule to speak to U. VA's class of 2013 graduates about the life they were going to face outside of the gilded campus that was conceived and designed by Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe back in 1819.
And he did so in typical Colbert fashion, which at once praise the graduating class while slightly insulting them (He acknowledged their high rankings in prestigious magazines and then saluted them for getting the number one spot in Playboy's "Best Party Schools" issue).
At 17 minutes long, Colbert weaved a tale of being denied entrance to the school back in 1984, his appreciation for their various secret societies, U. VA's honor pledge that ends with "...so help me Adderal", famous people associated with the college and of course, Thomas Jefferson's love of diversity (when it comes to snagging some booty).
I'm sure those that were graduating learned some valuable lessons.
