It seems hard to believe that it was 30 years ago that Fraggle Rock entered my home via stolen cable...how time flies...I was like, nine then and still full of hope that all my dreams would come true if I just believed in them hard enough.
Great, I'm all depressed now.
But I won't let my sad, pathetic existence take away from the excitement that this limited edition Fraggle Rock playing card gives me, knowing that as I play a bit of Texas Hold 'Em, I could potentially get a Royal Flush that bitch slaps me with nostalgia:
The deck, put out by The Spare Room, a gaming parlor and cocktail lounge (located in the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA) not only comes with some fine-looking cards festooned with all your favorite Fraggles, it also has some recipes and words of wisdom from the Spare Room as well (what this has to do with FR, I don't know, but I'm a sucker for recipes so, whatever).
