In an attempt to move away from simply being a place where people come to see dancing grannies and cat videos, YouTube has announced that they are going to be showcasing the best of comedy via live events, new videos and even collaborations with some amazingly funny people (Rainn Wilson, Craig Robertson, Michael Cera, Sarah Silverman, Vince Vaughn, Tig Nataro, JASH and tons more).
The kick-off will start on May 19th at 8 pm EST/5 pm PST with an all-star variety show filmed in front of an actual audience that will stream live.
