THE FOLLOWING: "The Final Chapter" S1E15 (recap)

The last episode of the season, and of course it has to end on a cliffhanger. The conceit of the series is that serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) is writing his masterpiece, a actual novel, but he is simultaneously acting out the novel in real life, sending his loyal group of socio and psychopaths out to help him orchestrate his plans.

The final chapter is revealed in this episode, and all of Carroll's faults as a writer are brought to the fore.
