Anyone who has read my reviews of Once Upon a Time since the introduction of Belle has probably picked up on the fact that I have an issue with the relationship between Rumplestiltskin and Belle.
It’s had too many features in common with those where domestic violence occur to be entirely comfortable.
And as always, just when I think the writers have made a huge mistake, they take the story in a direction that leaves me astounded.
There was some other stuff in this week’s episode, “Lacey.”
We discover that the dwarves and Tiny have been hard, secretly growing an entire field of magic beans in the hopes of returning to the Enchanted Forest. Greg and Tamara continue to plot. Emma has doubts about whether her true home is our world or that of Fairy Tales. We finally meet Robin Hood. And Hook returns.
A lot going on.
