"The final chapter has begun," says Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) to Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) in a note left behind at the cult's mansion base camp.  Knowing that the FBI is closing in Carroll has initiated his escape plan, which entails sending his remaining 37 or so cult members to an emergency evacuation center (the emergency being that a murderous cult has infiltrated the community) to engage in a killing spree.

As usual Ryan Hardy is just a little too late to do anything but contain the mayhem.
