Once upon a time becoming a politician was a noble pursuit, but now it feels that those who go into public service do so for the express purpose of showcasing their lack of social and moral skills to the very people who put them into office.
And there is absolutely no better way to view these deficiencies than when a group of politicians quote rap lyrics as proof that the world they think they are protecting is questioned by people who have written musical poetry that appeals to the disenfranchised, the young and yes, even to white folk who crave something a bit harder than frakking Taylor Swift.
So take a listen as politicians misappropriate various lyrics to further their own agenda, quote Cypress Hill and LL Cool J or simply try to figure out Snoop Dogg's name (and no, it isn't Snoopy Snoopy Poop Dog).
It's truly amazing.
