While digging through a box in my garage, I found about ten free AOL CD's from back in the day and my response to this discovery was that I broke down in tears. It was all those memories of lost hours spent in chat rooms talking about sex that did it. I mean, how often can one say that when they first inserted a CD into a disc drive and entered the series of tubes known as the internet that they found their true calling?
All right, probably a lot of people, but let's not diminish the shine that those memories have on me.
And this educational video about the internet is not only a trip down techno-babble lane, it is also so seriously hilarious that you will guffaw appreciatively at how insane we all were back then.
Ahh, memories.
Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to see if any of those passwords for a free 100 hour trial of AOL still work.
