Shawn (James Roday) hoodwinks Gus (Dulé Hill) into coming along on an expedition with two college students Kate (Kate Rogal) and Chavo (Alex Enriquez) to investigate Bigfoot sightings.
Shawn suspects that the two college kids were faking the sightings, however this suspicion is quickly laid to rest when the whole group has a close encounter with a large scary creature whose roars sends the motley group of filmmakers running and screaming through the woods.
