Lois(Erica Duance) and Clark (Tom Welling) go to the Fortress of Solitude to get Jor-El’s blessing for the wedding…and he decides to test their love by taking Clark’s powers away and giving them to Lois. That Jor-El. What a practical joker.
Meanwhile, Ollie (Justin Hartley) goes hunting for the Bow of Orion…and runs into an old friend.
The Random:
1. Well, seeing Kara (Laura Vandervoort) was a welcome surprise, and it really is amazing how many mysterious caves there are with really helpful clues to stopping Darkseid mostly unexplored but still pretty easily accessible.
2. It’s amazing that humans can get tossed through wood and glass and bounce back like it’s nothing. No scratches, no broken bones, just a little nap.
3. There are quite a few Easter eggs in this one, from the revamped Legion of Doom, including newcomers like Black Manta and Captain Cold, to the Starro shaped mind control devices to Kara leaving for the future to join up with the Legion of Super-Heroes.
