Transitioning from cinematography to directing, David A. Armstrong will helm the adaptation of comic book Crawl to Me.
Variety reports that Armstrong is attached to the live-action adaptation of the work by Alan Robert, Jeff Mazzola and Chris White. At the moment, producers are still looking for a writer for the project. Armstrong is well known for his work on the Saw franchise. He is currently directing Pawn, starring Michael Chiklis and Forest Whitaker.
The comic published by IDW follows a family in a small country town during the winter. During their time they are faced with a series of "disturbing events that force them to question their relationship, their faith and their very existence.
