ARROW: "The Odyssey" S1E14

This episode begins where it left off last week, with Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) archer ego, The Hood, bursting into Moira Queen's (Susanna Thompson) office. While we expected there to be a lot of dramatic dialog stemming from this setup, we instead get an immediate about face, and are sent on a long visit to Flashback Island.

Put Down the Gun, Ma, You'll Hurt Someone
Oliver, with arrow pointed at mommy Moira's face, asks her about "The Undertaking" and Walter. She honestly doesn't know about the second part of that and manages to avoid the first with some ace groveling. Although Hoodie got some face time with mom, she uses her kids' picture to try and distract Hood, which she does well enough that she's able to grab a gun and get in a few pot shots, one of which actually hits Oliver.


Oliver ends up in Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) car, in costume, bleeding and asking for help getting to his secret hideout. The best part is when Felicity bursts into Oliver's hideout, sidekick Diggs (David Ramsey) draws a gun on her and she asks for help "because he's heavy." Seems Felicity and Diggs make good doctors. Diggs calls out Felicity not being too surprised about Oliver being the Hood. Seems felicity is being brought into the fold since she's already been helping them solve cases. Ollie flatlines at one point when things go bad in the Flashback sequence - a typical TV tactic - but then they play it off as Felicity knocking out a plug. Pretty sneaky, sis.
