A former student of the great “Sam Seed” AKA Simon Yuen, father of legendary fight choreographer Yuen Woo-ping, Kong has been involved with martial arts and movie making on various levels for the majority of his life. His film credits might not be as numerous as some martial arts actors, but they include many a Kung Fu classic as well as a major international hit. He’s also been a personal trainer and sports therapist to various action performers including Japanese action actress Michiko Nichiwaki, Taiwanese action actress Cynthia Khan, Wushu maestro Jeff Falcon and a certain Jean-Claude Van Damme with whom he worked onBloodsportand Kickboxer.
