I grew up during a time when Spring Break movies were all about drinking and getting laid (Fraternity Vacation and The Sure Thing) or, quite possibly, rafting (Up the Creek).
But Harmony Korine (Kids, Gummo, Trash Humpers) has decided to take these iconic '80s movie themes and instead pack them full of chaos that includes James Franco (as a white rapper thug with cornrows) Disney virgins Vannessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson (ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars) and Korine's wife Rachel as "...hard partying bad girls" [Harmony-Korine] who go on a crime spree.
Yeah, somehow I don't think Mike the Dog is going to show up in this one.
And, since it's a Korine movie, you know there's going to be a lot of uncomfortable scenes that will not, in anyway, make you want to go Where the Boys Are.
I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I have a feeling that Disney and ABC Family are going to be grounding the girls when they get back.
