Smallville: Random, Awesome and WTF?! - S9E11: Absolute Justice

What happens when Hawkman, Dr. Fate, and Stargirl make their way onto Smallville?

The JSA explode onto the screen to team up with Clark and defeat an amped up Icicle in an episode filled with all kinds of comic book madness.

My nerdy sense is totally tingling…

The Random:
1. Oh, Courtney Whitmore AKA Stargirl, you are just a great big ball of adorable.  And for those who don’t know, her character was based on writer Geoff Johns’ sister who was tragically killed in a plane crash.

2. I totally want those display cases with all the JSA memorabilia in my house, not to mention the meeting table and mural in my kitchen.  How would that not be awesome?

This would make every breakfast an adventure.

3. One of the coolest things to watch is seeing the old school vs. new school approaches of the two halves of the team, especially when it comes to Hawkman and Green Arrow.  That rivalry is great in the comics, and comes to life here and it’s nice to see Hawkman’s origin being the one of an immortal soul forced to love and lose it again and again.

4. You’d think using someone’s dying father, even a villain’s, as bait would be something heroes wouldn’t do.  And you’d be wrong.  Because that’s totally what our heroes did.
