Like those of you who wait patiently for the gelatinous meat bi-product known as the McRib, I too have a season in which my gluttonous desires peak.
And that season is known as Harvest Beer Season....mmmmmm......Harvest Beer Season.
Basically it is filled with beers flavored in the scents, colors and tastes of fall which, when poured down my throat and into my belly, causes me to be a more pliable human being who is less apt to kill you (interestingly , it is also my husband's favorite time of year).
And this concoction of heaven from Red Robin mixes the tantalizing taste of Sam Adams Octoberfest brew (which combines the beauty of fucking toffee and caramel with five roasts of malt) with VANILLA ICE CREAM AND CARAMEL GOO.
Oh sweet Jeebus, a grown up milkshake just for me.
This delicious tribute to the season of candy corn and fallen leaves only lasts until November 11th so I suggest you get yourself a designated driver and toss back several of these ASAP.
If you need me I'll be in a booth in the back...just look for all the empty pint glasses.
