Barry Sonnenfeld has said that's he's going to be working on a comic book project, but just what is it? Well today we can tell you that the Men in Black 3 director is signed on to helm the DC Comics title The Metal Men.
The comic series from the sixties follows six cyborgs, Gold, Iron, Lead, Mercury, Tin, and Platinum, that were created by an expert on artificial-intelligence. Each of the cyborgs has talents that relate to their places on the periodic table.
Gold is the leader and can protect, Iron is the strongman, Lead protects them all, Mercury is a risk-taker and can melt to fit in tiny places, Platinum is the female of the gang and although she has the ability to flatten herself completely, she believes that she is a real woman and won't listen to anyone saying otherwise. Tin doesn't really do much of anything though.
Maybe Sonnenfeld can find a new sort of power for him
