This short animation has more to do with technique than it does with storyline but that doesn't detract from beauty of it at all.
In fact, it sort of makes it better.
You see, graphic designer Katy Beveridge wanted to see if you could film animation in real time using nothing but cut paper and a bicycle and the result is yes, yes you can. But even more impressive is the soundtrack to the piece (which synchs up wonderfully to the animation by the way) that is made up of different bike noises all smooshed together (then re-mixed by Stefan Neidermeyer).
The result is an incredibly simple, yet fantastic animation which perfectly illustrates how 2-D still has the power to knock your socks off.
Video after the break.
