Casting negotiations and plot rumors are all over the place with Iron Man 3. The latest news says Andy Lau is in talks to join the cast and The Mandarin is no longer a single villain, but a terrorist organization.
Neon Punch first reported that Andy Lau is in final negotiations to have a part in the third movie in the Iron Man franchise. He is latest in a lot of recent casting news for the film which has Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce signed on to play villains along with Jessica Chastain who will play a scientist.
But just who will Lau be fighting? Neonpunch has updated their story multiple times, right now they say that Lau's character wil be "an OLD FRIEND OF TONY STARK'S who will use China's armored heroes to HELP Iron Man defeat 'The Mandarin.'"
While I still personally don't think The Mandarin will be a part of the movie, if the name does show up in the film it will be the terrorist group that Extremis is sold to.
Also I'm sure Neon Punch will update this very soon, but Scarlett Johansson actually will NOT be reprising her role of Black Widow, but she does want to see the character have her very own movie.
