The weather is getting warmer (it is right? Sometimes I can't tell) so this is a great project to start which, come next Winter, will yield a plethora of Portal cake hats to bestow upon your friends and family.
Oh sure, some of them might not get the reference and will think you like cake a lot, but just imagine how great you will feel to see your majestic knitted fashions resting on top of the noggins of the various people you don't hate.
It'll be a proud day indeed.
