Lobo is coming to the silver screen with a new director attached to rewrite the script.
Variety reports that Brad Peyton, director of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, has signed on with Warner Bros. to direct and rewrite the story. Based on the DC Comics series about an alien "interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter," Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman and Adrew Rona will be producing.
At the moment it's unknown where the story is headed, but likely it will have the classic origin storytelling starting that will go to a different arc that happens later in the comic-book series. I only say that because it's been the recent trend with comic book movies. It will be interesting to see where they take the character. What do you want to see in a Lobo movie?
